Responsibilities of patients, their families and visitors
Responsibilities of patients and their families:

The patient and his / her family (including companions) must adhere to the following:

Preserving the property of the health facility and the property of others.
Safe and correct use of existing facilities and equipment.
Follow regulations and guidelines, including:

Bring proof of the patient’s identity.
Giving complete and accurate information about the patient’s personal, health and sick data.
Notifying health service providers about the patient’s previous surgeries and reviews of other health facilities.
Report any change in the patient’s health condition.
Inform the attending physician about the lack of understanding of the treatment plan and the scheduled interventions.
Provide complete and accurate information about the patient’s health insurance coverage and take responsibility for that.
Pay the bills for the treatment by the patient or his family.
Follow the prescribed treatment plan, and in case of refusal or failure to follow the instructions, the patient or the legal guardian bears the responsibility for that and the consequences and complications thereof.
Treating all staff, other patients and visitors with courtesy and respect.
Abide by the general rules and respect the religious, intellectual, and sectarian beliefs of others.
Respecting others’ privacy.
Follow regulations and special instructions.
Follow the safety and security regulations and instructions in the health facility.
Adhering to appointments and calling the Appointments Department in case of inability to attend.
Commitment to implement the decision to transfer to another place or exit as decided by the attending physician.
Commitment not to smoke in all health facility facilities except in the designated place.

Visitor responsibilities
